The Justice Department of the United States stated that it has made substantial progress on reviewing the millions of documents that may be related to Jefferey Epstein thanks to the efforts of hundreds of reviews.

Presently, the U. S justice department has released 12,285 documents out of the more than two million that it must be released under the Epstein Files Transparenct Act.

The department has argued that millions of pages of documents that need to be uploaded, reviewed, redacted and published has forced it to be released on a rolling basis.

In a letter, attorney General Pam Bondi, Deputy Attorney General, Todd Blanche, and U.S Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jay Clayton, stated

"The Department remains focused on releasing material under the Act promptly while ensuring the privacy of victims"

However information on the next release of was not disclosed despite the fact that the legal deadline to publish the records came December, 19, 2025.
