Data is the collection of raw facts such as numbers, names, or measurements. By itself, it does not provide much meaning. However, when data is arranged and studied, it becomes information that can be understood and used. For instance, recording student scores like 10, 15, and 18 is data. After analysis, we can say the student with 18 performed best. This shows that data is the foundation for creating information and making informed decisions.
